This will hit the under 65's , Women under 65 will be hit hard.
A pensioner under 65 on say 10000  now pays £783 tax, from April 2008 this go's up to £913

I have emailed them all, as yet no reply's.
I watched the budget when cameron questioned this, both Brown and Darling were laughing, never in a million years would you have thought a labour Goverment would do this, lost my vote .
This also hits students, school leavers, and other low paid.
I think Brown would like you to go back to work.
Could a labour suporter tell me why this has been done ?.

What a bind, doubling the tax on my two small pensions.  What a crazy thing to do to the poorest in the community.  Has anyone organised a protest?  My NHS pension was £27 a month, now it's £24, a loss of £3 per month.  I've yet to get to notice of my Abbey one.  I'm so pleased MP's get such generous allowances that I pay for.  Stinks!

Hi
I too have just found this site and joined. The tax on my NHS Pension has doubled, for the coming year.  I am back to the amount I was receiving 4 years ago.
Fortunately.....? I am 65 this year so will hopefully benefit from increased allowances. (Should I really have to wish my life away).
However, this is not on, to tax further those who undoubtedly have paid into the system most if not all of their lives.
Why should we be expected to further foot the bill for those who do not work or for the allowances of those who make these decisions.
I am definitely in the mood for protesting.

I believe anyone with any common sense will know what to do
at the next election!

How many kicks in the teeth does it take before just voting
for the same people because you have always done...
