I was shocked and dumbfounded when that policeman, who hit an Innocent person with his stick, and pushed him to the ground, who then died from internal bleeding not going to be charged with any thing. All on film how can this be right?

Off course it was a white wash.  One law for us and NO Law for them. Did you really expect any other outcome? I certainly didn't. Welcome to Great(Huh) Britain.

I am not prepared to knock Great Britain just because one cop was out of line !

While it is true that some cops get a bit too confident with their uniform on and being part of a pack, like all pack mentality, individuals feel stronger when they know they are going to be backed up.

That said, I do not think for a minute that that cop in particular had any idea that pushing that guy for moving too slowly, ( watch the video again ), would result in his death.

The cop HAS been suspended since the incident and he still faces an internal enquiry. I think that the shoo-flys will be under some pressure to make an example of him.

We can only wait and see what comes out of the enquiry.

Anyone who wants to know what happens if a cop gets out of line can find out here: http://thesite.mobi/homelawandmoney/law/introuble/complainaboutpolice

ONE Cop out of line?? Come on you know better than that. I've been on other forums for years with numerous examples of Police getting kidglove treatment.. In this particular case there has been massive incompetence(maybe) from the powers that be. Now how can this be with such a high profile case?
Whoever was in charge of this case should be looking for another position - A trainee Traffic Warden's Assistant position would be aiming too high for these clowns.

I guess they didn't show the bit where the cop hit this chap in the back with a big stick which coursed internal bleeding. No body would have been to concerned with the push in the back otherwise.

The whole integrety of our police forces are at stake; if the officer concerned has any integrety he will resign his position to remove any residual ill-feeling to or against his collegues and for the puplics' peace of mind and dispell any accusations of a whitewash.

I REALLY hate it when any group or race or entity is stereotyped into being as bad as the worst tiny few in their midst.

It is usually anarchists that find it easy to tar everybody with one brush when in fact they would destroy this country very quickly if it was not for our police.

Just stop and think for a while................................ What would we do WITHOUT our police ?

Does any of you that find it easy to slag them off want to try it ?

I am certainly not calling the police as an whole, just one bad apple among a good bunch he should be punished. CPS took such a long time over it they cannot charge the officer with the lesser crime of assault because the time of 6 months had been exceeded.

Hugh.....

I am just saying that it is easy to take for granted what the police do for us and it is even easier for some people to tar them all with the same brush when a few of them get it wrong.

That is what the Police Complaints Commission is for.

I do not agree that every cop that goes rogue get's let off and his or her actions are whitewashed over. To say that would be unfair, inaccurate and unreasonable.
