Is your state pension payment correct?
« on: April 03, 2006, 11:22:14 PM »
Errors are apparently quite common. For example...

If you looked after a child and claimed child benefit your NI should be credited, but sometimes it isn't.

If you have ever changed your job even once during your working lifetime or been unemployed even for 1 week in one year you may have contributions which you have PAID missing from your record and the DWP will reduce your pension as a direct result.

Missing years of NI payment as a result of lost data in the recent IR computer foul-up.

Sometimes when you turn retirement age your annual tax allowance does not increase as it should.

Anybody experienced such errors?
