Can we really trust this motley crew who have created this recession
to sort out the problem , i don't have much faith in any of them.
Greed and corrupt politicians have got our country in this  awful mess.
Germany has gone into recession and we 0APS  who were war babies know what happened in 1932 and what happened afterwards,
We need a strong leader and it aint Gordon "no nails" brown.

I agree it is not Brown.

If I had shadowed someone for the job I now have for as long as Brown did. I would be ashamed with my performance.

Looking back on the job of Chancellor, I would also be ashamed. Bringing a Country to the buffers is nothing to be proud of.

What I would be proud of is the money I have been paid, the perks all underpinned by an overlarge pension when the shambles is over. Looking forward to the rewards from those who have been given large amounts of Tax Payers money, putting the Country into further debt for many years to come.

If it was still possible for innocent children to play outside, they would skip to this;

"Gordon Brown will bring us down, bring us down,
bring us down
Gordon Brown will bring us down,
My fault darling"

The last Tory government created this recession, not the former New Labour Government.   And it will conhtinue under the coation, because they also have a right wing agenda.

I have the answer: split the country down the middle north to south socialists on  one side realists on the other - see who survives the longest - reserve me a place as far away from any form of socialism

Socialist principles, gave you the NHS, the minimum wage, pensions linked to earnings, council housing, fairness and equality.

I take it your above all that then ?

 Ivanhoe: It was not socialism that gave us anything other than debt and envy; your list as I understand it came from our taxes and the taxes on enterprise and ingenuity and our personal taxation, which when managed prudently will keep us free from debt and the tyranny of the Socialists
