The Bearded Buffoon, aka the Archbishop of Canterbury
« on: April 24, 2011, 09:55:14 PM »
Why is it that it's always these academic dimwits, who lead privileged comfortable lives & who will never have to worry about a heating bill, who lecture the rest of us about being happy even if we haven't got a 'pot to **** in' !!!

That was my very thoughts  :(

The sooner  John Tucker Mugabi Sentamu , Archbishop of York takes over the better !
He is the second most senior cleric in the Church of England, after the Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams.

I share this one as I cannot stand the man he just does not live in the real world as we have to :-\

I wonder if he will ever have to live on state pension alone we have to assume he gives any surplus money he might acquire to the poor - I don't think so!!!!!!!

Sadly he was chosen by man rather than God and he does seem to have some very stupid ideas.

I think it will be a long time before women are accepted at the rank we are discussing, willing hand maiden comes to mind, in the higher hierarchy of the Christian church. As for Arch of Cant ( and this is exactly what he does, and fits in a rant too) I can't bear the man.

Oh dear starting off as a Newbie and being so argumentative, I shall get drummed out of the Brownies; promise not to do it too often.  :-[. I am afraid I would not like there to be female Bishops.  Everyone has talents and there are so many things women can do better than men but I suspect this would not be one of them.  I shall run away and hide for a few days now - probably!  ;)

I no longer want to attend church despite actually loving the concept of religion. Who ever appointed this bearded hippy druid needs surgery and from the bottom of my heart to all the caring loving ladies out there, it is not their role to be Bishops, Vicars, Pope or anyother office in the church of God. They are supportive in my view to the level of Mary Magdalene and Jesus' Mother. Kindness, supplication, strong, and meaningful just like the mother I never knew would have been.

Oh dear, it seems I have, unwittingly, launched a thread for Bishop bashing!!!!!!!!!

Don't worry about it - it won't be the first time we have 'bashed' someone and most are deserving  ;D

Phil I'm not Bishop bashing per se, it is just that this brilliant forum gives one the opportunity to sound off against all the iniquities I in particular never seem able to voice elsewhere and be read. Just like that fool for a journalist Andrew Marr, having an injunction because he was guilty and ashamed of having an affair and then being sanctimonious in case he hurt his family. I suggest he already had. Then to interview others on their rights and wrongs on that other publicly financed hypocritical public media the so-called BBC.  Grrrrr!!! >:( >:( >:(

I certainly don't think there's anything wrong with bashing the Bishop & I'll continue to do so & the following article supports my view  :D

Just go for it guys, this is principle bashing time in my book.  :D :D ;D ;D ;D Especially with all these Labourite clones pounding the streets where I live in total denial of their legacy and they are followed by the totally discredited loons previously called Lib Dems or Clegg's mafia. All in my humble opinion of course.
