1946 Austin 10, same age as me! It was always burning valves out!
That's me second left with hair! ;D

When I first glanced at this I thought that the arrow was pointing at John Lennon!

A morris OXFORD SPLIT SCREEN SO BAD IT NEVER LEFT THE GARDEN
Next a morris minor 1000 the big end went.
After I passed my test an austin Maxi.
Memorable because the Gear lever came off in my hand at a major round about.
Apparently they where all colour coded and the wrong one had been fitted.
Happy Days.

In 1964 for £25  a 1938 Ford 8
850cc side-valve engine, cable brakes and 6 volt electrics.

My insurance company insisted I take the car to a garage to get a paper signed saying the tyres were in good nick (well no canvas showing).
MOT  ::) ::)

Big Al was it the 105e still have an engine stripped down with polish ports and a handmade solid copper gasket to increase the compression ration - those really were the days!

 As far as I know it would have been a 7Y.

Let me stress this is not a picture of my car but it was this model.
