Sorry if I apear to be an old Killjoy.  

But you made the point in your main text.

I know there are some chemicals you shouldn't be using ( they are bad for you) Alcohol, and some herbs which some people smoke.Others which are medicinal but are abused somewhat.
But the results of most of them are short term when used in moderation. Also they are rejected eventually from the body.
Whilst most of us are probably past the point of no return as to the effects. Our children and Grandchildren are not.

I remember being told off by my mother for eatinf too much sugar with the quote(you'll get SUGAR Diabetes)" Perhaps you will note the incidence of that complaint amongst the young which was not present in our past.
It's up to you now !
