The Madness of King Gordon
« on: May 21, 2009, 03:06:14 PM »
How long does this once proud Country have to suffer this?

One failing to the next.

That failing ignored until pushed into making a decision or following what some other person did or said.

Stop this madness!

Make your vote count on June 4 - stop this madness by voting for anybody or anything, but not Labour.

We are calling for a non means tested £165 a week single persons state pension. We would welcome your comments, anything you can add would be very much appreciated.

I realise that this is a publicity posting.

But before asking for a minimum of this and that.

Lets have a rule change - where those who paid and contributed greatly for a state pension -
get more then those who could not be bothered or just popped into the Country to obtain one.

This is all part of the Brown's madness. No wonder the MP's just thought they could claim anything.

His depth of leadership so shallow - we need an immediate general election.

Not a claim that there would be chaos - there is chaos not holding one...

John,

This was indeed a publicity posting, one made to gain the views of people interested in this subject.

'Lets have a rule change - where those who paid and contributed greatly for a state pension -
get more than those who could not be bothered or just popped into the Country to obtain one.'

If you visit the site you will find we cover this point under British Born, you are right, people who just arrive here 'pop in' should not be entitled to a state pension, but nor should they be entitled to Free NHS, Free education, benefits...........

I too have contributed greatly for my future state pension, however, I can live with this one, and only this one, form of wealth redistribution if it benefits our 11m pensioners. A pension of £165 is a fair starting point.

You get no argument from us on 'Brown's madness'. He's the guy borrowing £703 billion over the next 5 years doubling the national debt to £1.4 Trillion. He's also the guy increasing public spending as his income falls.

'No wonder the MP's just thought they could claim anything' - They all did. Cameron claimed £82,450 in second home allowance over 4 years, Anthony Steen only claimed £3,000 more! An election now that sees him in power will reward Cameron - a man without the guts to be open about the spending cuts required to fix the public finances. He will also do nothing to stop huge numbers of overseas workers legally entering Britain. 733,000 people were allowed to enter the UK in 07/08 to work here. In short he has no real plans.

Worse still, if you read our piece on MP's expenses you will see that flipping and Capital Gains Tax avoidance were reported long before the lastest exposure. What did Cameron do - nothing.

It's not just Brown's depth of leadership that is shallow.

We agree there is a need for a general election but simply exchanging red for blue is not the answer.

Brown's choas will follow if the very real problems in our country are not addressed; Public spending, Crime, Immigration, Tax and many others, not just MPs who ripped off the tax payer.

Visit our site we would welcome your input.

The website is well worth visiting. There are only a complete of matters that I would disagree with.
But when considering the amount of points made, that is not a million miles away from my thoughts.

There are so many matters that have been left to rot at the core in England particularly.
We have many dark days ahead.

There is one matter regarding Europe. It is an escape route for those forced to move out.
I doubt we can sustain ourselves without basics from Europe.

It was Europe that made holidays and working directives statutory. Freedom of Information and
Human Rights are another. They also stabilised currency by introducing the Euro.

If it was not for the Human Rights framework, Brown would have a camera in your front room now.

He is a control freak and interested in all types of stealth tax. Rather than the British people.

Dear Gordon

I regret that I have to inform you that contrary to your previous hopes and expectations I think it very unlikely that John will vote for you, your party or indeed your boss "emperor" Peter.

He does however like the idea of the EU and extols some of the, as he sees them,  virtues of the system. He fails to recognise that true to the master plan these conceal the ultimate aim of you and your cronies in this vast unelected dictatorship. I refer of course to The UK becoming a distant satellite of the "Union of European socialist republics" using the model of the USSR. The UK then becoming a dumping ground for the excess of immigrants from the third world.

As you can not rely on John's direct vote perhaps it would be wise if you worked more on a "We love Europe" campaign which would ensure John's vote and perhaps even persuade some of his more gullible friends to join him with their support.

That would not encourage my vote for Brown and his Clowns.

I have to take the long view on Europe because the UK is no longer
self sufficient in food or manufacturing.

Due to Brown and his puppet Darling, the UK is no longer self sufficient
in financial terms either.

Without the European Investment Bank (a development arm of the
European Union).  The money and tax wasting Olympics 2012 would grind
to a halt. Many other ventures where you see the European Flag would
as well.

In simple terms the United Kingdom is no longer independent collectively.

They could be without England & Wales. The only asset of England is
that it is a taxation cash cow for the others due to its overpopulation.

I think you might be onto something there. Without the EU bank we wouldn't be paying untold millions into it by way of our members dues. Such money could then be spent on important things, once Gordon and co are gone of course, otherwise it would just be wasted on the same sort of thing as they waste money on now.

The contribution to the European Union is complex in structure. VAT is the common tax throughout the EU
to raise it.

But that said, the nett contribution is only a small percentage of UK VAT. The rest is creamed off
for the same faces and names of the Boys & Girls Club that will spout what they are paid to spout.
(Must never slag Gordon off).

Baroness You never heard of before or Lord Best Mate supposedly running quangos.

People forget that we have UK MEP's that live on cream and honey. No expense is spared or
too large (keep the change in your back pocket).

These matters all cost and the UK is not promoting industries such as farming to take back a bigger slice.

WOW...this is hot...great stuff !

Just so to throw a spanner in the cosy works here I have to admit that while our Gordon has been a failure as a Prime Minister he is basically a decent and honourable and honest man, ( as far as any politican can be of course ) and as such I have to support him.

I am more liable to blame New Labour for what has gone wrong over the past ten or more years and Tony Blair has a lot to be responsible for in that too.

Brown is an easy target as he is the encumbent that is there to take the stick and I am sure that if politics is as politics has always been it will be Cameron that will be taking the brick-bats very soon.

The electorate  - especially in Britain - all seem to have very short memories where this is concerned.

I have to say that I am not looking forward to a country run by The Tories when I remember what they did the last time they had a shot of doing that job.

As far as I see it, to put in the Tories would be like falling straight out of the frying pan right into the fire.

Honest, honourable, upright, decent, not words that go well with politician I fear.
As for them applying to Gordon, well you are entitled to your opinion which may or may not be applicable. Personally I have no sympathy for him as I consider all the brick bats, abuse, etc to be self inflicted. Had he no been so paranoid when Billy liar left and done the "honourable" thing and called an election he would not be in the position he is now. He had coveted the job of PM for so long he was determined to have it come hell or high water.
But you are correct in saying that the general public as a whole have very short memories, the fact that labour, new or old got in in 1997 after the debacle of their previous incumbency.

True too "call me Dave" will be getting it in the neck by this time next year, however I would suggest that this will serve to get them to take action on the problems rather than spin their way forward whilst concealing the evidence.
The Tories, as I've said before are not the magic bullet but despite your perceptions of their previous tenure, they could hardly make a worse job of running what's left of the country.
I will finish this at this point as I have to move location before Gordons "Thought Police"  get here and charge me under some obscure section of the terrorism act for sedition or failing to praise the great leader

Ha ha Wrinkles, you are a wag !  ;D

Yes I will admit that Blair was the spin-doctor of all time, but if you think that the Tories won't "spin" their party-line you are also forgetting how duplicitous they can be as well.

We in Britain stumble on from right to left and back again supporting any bunch that promises us the heavens and yet we never seem to learn that they are all there to fulfill their own desires and not ours.

This next "stumble" to the right will allow Dave and his cohorts to do stuff that before Blair they would have been terrified to even try.

Mark my words that once young Davy and his string-pullers get in they will drag this country back into the old days of the "dark satanic mills".

I would even suggest that all of the venom that is directed at poor ole Brown at this moment might be considered again in the light of this "new day" to come.

I guess that we  - as has once been said - "get the politicians that we deserve."

WAG Me, no, no, I am a heterosexual red blooded male albeit rather past my prime. How you could mistake me for the squeeze of some obnoxious footballer I know not.

By comparison Dave and crew are mere amateurs at the spin and they will  take a long time to reach the dizzy heights of misinformation and cover up that Nu labour have attained, but I have no doubt that with fair wind etc they will get there eventually.
As you say we get the politicians we deserve and deserve what we get. As for a return to the "Dark Satanic Mills" really? and would that be so bad or worse than the control freak led police state puppets dancing to the tune of some distant band of unelected, unprincipled, unaccountable communist crooks that is the alternative?

What is this "new day" to come? not yet another of Gordon/Peter's much trumpeted, headline grabbing initiatives that are totally unworkable, will cost billions and achieve nothing?

In truth I am a firm believer in the old adage "If voting changed anything it would be banned" I don't know who said it but he was wise among men.

Oh!just so you can put a face to a name see below, and cheers (sorry the glass is out of frame)

Not THAT kind of "Wag" !

The kind I meant was a witty and amusing person ! You can find the definition in Wiki !

I often find that the reaction to the word Socialism almost always degenerates to an attachment to Communism. I cannot understand why that happens as while most Communists might also be Socialists not all Socialists are Communists.

The latter is the case for me !

As I was brought up in "Old Labour" by my beloved grandad - who was incidentally a personal friend of Mannie Shinwell - I took on all of the values of the caring and sharing society without all of the dogma of the state-controlled ideas found in Communism.

Now I have evolved into what is called a New-Socialist where this principle allows for the existence of Capitalism and where both equally share the right to create wealth and to ensure that it is spread around fairly.

Without Capitalism generating the desire for wealth social awareness could not exist and without the safeguards built into New-Socialism, Capitalism will always favour the strong against the weak.

Maybe this is just an "idea" but many powerful systems in the past were built on such simple ideas.

Socialism, communism, facism, nationalism, capitalism, all these ism's have there plus points in fact I would go along with the theories of both communism and socialism but as is the case in many of these theory and practice are worlds apart due to the human element. not least of which is the "Orwellism" All men are eaqual but some are more equal than others.

Mannie Shinwell? Now there's a name from the past. If Labour had a few more like him then perhaps it would be a different story.

Anyway gotta go as I'm miles from home and 'er indoors want's to be home for tea. With a 120 miles to go she's got a chance of getting there for supper  ;)
