Formula 1
« on: September 10, 2011, 11:42:30 AM »
Got my popcorn in one hand and my diet coke (it doesn't work by the way) in the other hand armchair  right in front of the tv and waiting for the qualifying races to start in Monza Italy.

I love it, you can forget about the football, cricket there is something about fast cars that really gets me excited ;D

Come on Lewis and Jenson show them what you are made of, Ferrari are on home ground and will moan and cheat to try to win!

Cannot seem to get too involved in Formula 1 these days.  Although being definitely British I don't like Hamilton or Button(sorry Dottie) but just cheer on Mark Webber and dear  Michael Schumacher. We shall have the race on tomorrow but I will have a book and my knitting  handy by my side. ;)

Hey Dottie, after all your great efforts with weight loss, you well deserve your popcorn and Diet Coke.

I love Formula 1, but this year will have to rely on Monza highlights, since am involved in a fund raising do.

Will also have to catch up on the Ryder Cup results to date, no doubt Hugh will be glued to this via satelite TV!

Best wishes

I have a system Dottie LOL. I cannot sit and just watch teli so I always have my knitting on the go. The book is there for when I get bored with the teli, or when the long adverts come on . May sound daft to others but it works for me  ;D

Dottie,

General question as Multi - tasking has been raised in this post !

If Women are so good at multi - tasking - Why cannot they cope with Sex & a Headache at the same time ??????
If I wake up in the morning - I know it's going to be a Good Day - just consider the alternative !!!!!

Vettle certainly proved today he is going to be one of the all time greats of formula one. Button now become number one over Hamilton. That other German who I will not name should have been punished the same as they did with Hamilton in one of his last races. It seems to me that certain drivers can get away with murder.

PS no satelite TV! where we are staying

Hugh I quiet agree with you,  there does appear to be rules for the McLaren team that does not apply to any of the other drivers, no wonder Bernies Daughter can afford a 52 million dollar home!

The one that I want to talk about who is a Scot - like me - is young Paul Di-Resta. Now there is a young lad that is worth watching for the future once he gets a decent car to drive......A red Bull Renault maybe...instead of a Force India - Spyker - Ferrari - McLaren/Mercedes - next year !

YES...I like F1 too !
Regards....

Who says force India not going to do well next year. Red bull came from no where. Back of the field where the hard works done and drivers can learn their trade and prove how good they are.
