Question how many of you have actually been to Korea either north or south? Judge from experience not hearsay!

You don't have to fall into river to know that it is wet and you don't have to fall into a fire to know that it is hot !

Even although this shady regime has tried VERY hard to keep what goes in inside it's boundaries very secret, it has failed miserably.

The whole world knows that the military junta controlling life in North Korea ensures that it's people stay uninformed serfs and have no say in their own progress or development.

North Korea is probably the most repressed country in the world at this moment in time and I do not need to live there to know that !

They have in north Korea their equivalent of the Russian Gulags.
Guards Beat up an even shoot the inmates (Hundreds of them live there) and they are not regarded as human beings.
It is akin  or worse than Stalin and Hitlers treatment of their own people.
The Dead Despot let is people starve whilst he lived a life of luxury.
It is said that he personally was the worlds biggest importer of hennasy ycognac.
He  created a world of fear for his people and let them starve rather than ask the world for help.

Now they enter into the unknown?
His people are not allowed mobile phones or computers Or a free press and only State censored television
The few people who have escaped have told the world what it is like in North Korea.

Let us suppose a north Korean journalist was in Britain at the time of the 'riots' would what they saw and heard give a true picture of our life here? If you listen to our media you get the impression that we are starving our people. Is this 'truth'.

Some people did not believe what was happening in Hitlers Germany before  WW2.
What is happening is that North Korea is painting a Happy Picture for the outside World whilst the truth is far from it.
Why do you think that the media is control ed by the state.
no mobiles no computers are allowed.
There was a programme on the Documentry Channel last night about North Korea very revealing. The people sound brain washed (like mass hypnosis) when they are talking to the western television crew in their own language and they had no fear in their faces but the replies could have been read out. They are constantly watched.
A camera man wanted to take a photograph of a large statue of their leader. He could not fit into the frame as the statue was so large. So he lay on his back in front of to get the shot and a watcher immediately grabbed him and said that he would have to leave Korea. For laying on his back in front of their leader. It did not happen he was not deported but the watcher was serious.

People Starving in the UK?
Whilst people (Falling through the Benefit net ,Jobless and suffering Fuel poverty)appear  not to be starving in this our  country poverty is increasing.
This country's gap between the have's and the have Not's is growing wider.
Has for listening to our Media it is not perfect but it is free to express its opinions.

I think there is going to be a problem for the UK with Argentina.
They started the last War when we withdrew our survey ship from service in the area to cut cost. With the war that followed what a cost that made for us!!
Now we have no Aircraft Carriers and a majority of our Troops are tied up in Afghanistan and with other South American countries banning ships flying the Falklands Flag from docking ?
Political Manovering  to divert the Argentinians from any problems they may have or a move to militairy action?

It IS true that they say that "the first thing that is lost in journalism is the truth" as one person's truth might be another person's propaganda.

While we are aware of this we have to take in as much information as comes out of secretive and repressive countries like North Korea as they deliberately try to hide from us that while their ruling elite live in luxury most of their people are dying of starvation.

It does not matter how closed any regime like that might be, eventually the truth DOES come out. All we have to do to see it and hear it is keep out eyes open and our ears close to the ground.
