Many years ago we were on holiday in Sorrento, one day we passed this barber shop with an old guy sat outside who looked like he was still living in the thirties, i told my wife i've always fancied a shave with a cut throat razor and how cool would it be to let this guy who looked like he'd been doing it all his life to do it. We walked in and he beckoned me to get in the seat (a la al capone). As i sat down awaiting a hot towel pampering etc i saw the guy put on his coat and walk out, to be replaced with a gormless looking young girl who proceeded to roughly shave me with a bic disposable razor.....
