Taken for a ride
« on: November 02, 2009, 07:35:03 PM »
I would just like to draw your attention to the behaviour of the RSPCA, it's time that people like myself stopped believing the nice furry stores they read about them, I am not an animal rights fanatic but I was disgusted at what I have been reading about them.

Take a look at this, it is beyond belief:

If you feel as strongly as I do about this needless slaughter, please sign the petition:

Many thanks for your kind attention.

Sorry K9_ Mum...but human beings are more in need of that kind of effort than dogs are.

While I would never condone cruelty to animals I think that cruelty to the elderly by supposed caregivers in private and state institutions is far more important to me.

I say let the police deal with such acts against dogs and then let the rest of us get on with looking after the old and the young humans.

I have been shocked and dismayed by the numbers of people in Britain that care about dogs and cats and horses while, they seem to not give a damn about the humans that are being abused.

In particular, I get so angry at how people are willing to allow animals to be put out of their misery in illness or injury and yet they fight like animals to ensure that elderly people suffer on and on in pain and distress.

PUT PEOPLE FIRST! is my motto !

This isn't spam at all, it's something I thought would be of interest to those who are donating hard earned or hard saved money, the facts are proven!

I do agree with you Papaumau, people are important and I do more than my bit as I am a carer for my elderly Mother.

I don't see why people cannot be concerned about BOTH people and animals, why does it have to be one or the other?

Don't worry, I wont be using these forums again, I mistook them as a place where people might be concerned, I was obviously wrong.

K9_ Mum.....

I think you totally missed my point !

I feel that the people of Britain seem to care more about animals than they do about human children and elderly adults and that is just WRONG !

Yes, it does not detract from the needs of one to serve the needs of the other but this has to be done in a way that gives the PEOPLE ninety-percent of the care and the animals the rest - if time, effort and expense allows.

I have found in my experience that this is often disproportionally the case in favour of the animals.
