I have looked at the list.

It should be called the Sieve List there are so many holes in it.

So much wasted spending with little result.

That is what this list proves.

I remember Tony Blair talking about his "classless society" and even then he was pandering to the middle and upper-classes in his attempt to draw votes from all directions.

It is always a good thing to be wary of anybody who says that Britain is living in a classless society as it is usually the ones that say it that are the most quietly class-conscious of them all.

Not until the day that we get rid of the aristocrats and their big-money backers will this country ever start to be classless.

I do not hold my breath waiting for that to happen as we do not - sadly so - live in a country that values everybody at every level.

At least it is there to be seen for anybody that has the desire or interest to look at it and know about it. I didn't at any time say that it was perfect.

That is a different discussion altogether !

I saw Vince Cable making comment on the BBC News about the
Bankers' Bonuses.

He appeared washed out and just repeated parts of the
question put to him. Adding nothing of the spirit he once
had.

He could have been having an off day, or he could have
hit the buffers. Mansion Tax being the final and quite
frankly daft unworkable idea.

Yes, I can't see how Vince Cable thinks that by calling every one owning a home worth  more than£1m is going to cut taxes for the lower and middle class incomes by over£16 Billion
And I cannot see them  pushing it very far with an election coming up, where they will be defending seats in the South East of England, and the tax would have a disproportionate effect because of the high property prices in that area.

Agreed.

The Liberal Democrats are lost at the moment.

They have just realised how much debt Labour have
loaded on the Country. That there is not the money
to fulfil most of their manifesto.
