« on: December 13, 2006, 03:54:36 PM »
hi there, just found the fourm while surfing the net,im wondering if you would be so kind to help me.

with the winter upon us i find myself having to switch my lights on about 3 o'clock, as you all know this eats away at the money in the meter and power cards don't come cheap these days.

i was in the pub last night when this young lad comes in selling power cards  half price, i bought 3 but i don't know weather to use them or not, would i get into trouble?

please help as i only have 70 pence left in the meter before it runs out

Don't do it is all I can say.  There's been a scam with these cards going on for a number of years.  Each card that you buy has a registration number which is logged by the electricity supply company.
