Helping the family

I am retired and bored - can I help my son in his business for free? It will keep my brain alert and keep me feeling well.

Hello Daisybell retired and bored. Not a good way to be, you have to be fit healthy to enjoy long happy and interesting retirement. I will be 71 in a few weeks and really enjoying life. I took up scuba diving at age of 66 and joined a GYM to keep fit. Between times I enjoy taking the next doors dog for walks and a garden to look after.
If you look under GENERAL DISCUSSIONS    PENSIONERS FORUM we are trying to pull everyone together no matter which party you support to speak as one voice against our very low pension.
We may not get any where, but from a small seeds trees will grow. I am away for two weeks on friday so have a natter with Christine Ward.
Any one looking in on this sight please join in, the bigger the group the more say we will have.

Hi from me too Daisybell !

A person who was much clever than I will ever be once said that "all you need to enjoy retirement was three things": 1 ). Good health 2). Enough money and 3). A good imagination.

I have found that as I am lucky enough to have all three I enjoy every minute of my retiral.

Do you really think that you are ready to get back onto the treadmill by helping your son with his business. If you do you will no longer be retired.
Regards....

Papaumau.
