Greets

How many here had intimate relations with a section of the normandy coast?
How many fought in the 'good war' [the last such war apparently]
The germans were known and could be pinned down.
Tough and determined and disciplined. Even to the end the fought like brits would fight for london.
You have to give them credit for that. I'm not talking the farce of the nazi political system.. that was a joke.
Im not an apologist.. soldiers are soldiers. They have own code. they care little in end for political matters
Considering the history of europe the germans were part of the family.. A civil war by any other name. Look at the time when my ggggda was marshal Marmont..
Blucher was an ally of Wellesley on the Brussels road.
[I am too young to have been there but i have been in theater in SE asia. De-mining took many years off my life and claimed my friends.]

Now.. No Uk troops are 'publically admitted' to exist in the mideast theater. This of course is rubbish.
A media fop. Using that 'wisdom' i say i dont have...200 to 500 UK troops are in action in  Afghan  for a start. This is brit home territory.
Sniper teams still up count.. how can they if they are not there?
The JIC/SIS are not fools to be loafing in the club
