The Winter of Discontent.
« on: March 06, 2010, 12:12:14 PM »
Today's Tory party opposition with Cameron as leader have not got a "winter of discontent" to contend with, to brainwash the British to voting for them with promises of uniting Britain.

Today's Tory's have no manifesto for change, how can they have when their fundamental policies were all stolen by New Labour in 1997.

Cameron should go into the next general election a frightened man, because he can't pulll out of the hat anything radical to reverse his own parties policies under New Labour.

Thatcher had everything going for her in ther 70's when social upheavel was rife, Thatcher was an opportunist politician who won over working class Britian with her retorich.

Cameron does not have the same social upheavel to win over, he has to continue his retorich of change, but he cannot bring forward policies to bring about change.

Britain does need change because New Labour have wasted their 13 years in Government.

But where is this change going to come from ?

Not from Brown and new labour thats for sure. A vote for new labour will be a wasted vote.

One "change" I would like to make would be to give Scotland their independance BUT then send all Scottish MP's back over the boarder where they belong and stop them meddling in English government.

Then we could have a true English government and no longer be governed by Scotland.

Devolution is the greatest political devide and conquer mechanism ever.  The UK is no more.
