Well done Darling (no not my wife but the Chancellor). He has just put the final nail in this government's coffin!

Anybody listening to the "last" (thank God) budget from this government will have it fully confirmed that this country of ours really cannot afford another five years of the Brown/Darling combo.

With analysis he has hung himself. Raising taxes (so what's new with a Labour party), cutting small business allowances to effectively strangle them and condemming the country to more and more and more borrowing.

Oh, I am pleasently surprised John. I took you for a staunch Labourite Unionist. Just goes to show how wrong one can be, but I,m not surprised!

I used to operate an amateur radio station (in the Middle East) and I often subsequently met the people I had spoken to over the air, and formed an opinion as to what they looked like. I don't think I ever got it right!
