What do the NSPCC Actually Do?
« on: March 29, 2010, 03:11:17 AM »
There have been an increasing amount of child cruelty/murder incidents and at no time have I read about the involvement  of the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.

I always remember seeing advertisements once with Uniform Officers going round houses to check on children in the same way the RSPCA would enquire about the cruelty to animals.

The NSPCC just seem to operate an advice line 0808 800 5000 now.

Not that it slow to ask for money or use marketing in a way that it appears they actually do something.

From great beginnings do they just  theorise from behind desks now?

Again my attention is focussed on the fact that it is NATIONAL for children, and ROYAL for animals - no wonder I have republican inclinations!
