I am starting a new thread about greasing hands entitled 'Corruption how to get things done' as I always laugh at the ingenious ways people find to avoid paying tax even though there is a serious side buy hey lets not dwell on that and have fun with the subject

May be they are wise to the fact that alot of income not declared. Higher taxes on the declared income balances books a little, or the other way round of course.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.............. as I see it that is not quite what we know as tax-avoidance or even tax evasion; that is simple graft and corruption.

I will agree that this does not happen so often or so overtly in Britain, but it certainly DOES happen here too.

The "slush-funds" and the "backhanders" have always been a way to grease the wheels of industry here even if these sneaky deals are done in darkened rooms and are never laid against tax.

I do not think that we ordinary mortals on the streets of Britain know the half of it here.
Regards....

Papaumau.
