How many stowaways? Big ship. Guess you could hide yourself....maybe. You gotta get on the ship...undetected. Provide food for yourself and others for...4 weeks? Deficate? Urinate? Keep quiet. Count the days and hours? You would also be calculating what would happen to you if and when you are discovered. If you thought the crew were Taliban you would guess you might go over the side as shark bait. Other nationalities wusses? Bet on succeding in getting to your destination, especially GB with all the feed back that must be known along with our record for never returning folk.

I expect this gamble to have paid off. There will be no news of 7 pirates being repatriated. Once here, even if not granted asylum they would go walkabout. If cards played right they can convert to being gay,Christian, other? In the mean time maybe hook up with some female or sap to delay export.

Of course for them to remain care fees have to be raised cos the country cant look out for everyone. Take the dosh from those most vulnerable or least likely to be able to complain. It make sense. Only the law abiding pay. And that with their own money. T'other get legal representation gratis

The jokes are at our expense!

All these vermin however they get here, are taking the p**s out of the British taxpayer, and what's worse, is our gutless politicians who we pay to look after our interests, are sat on their fat arses allowing them to do it.

Too right they are, but those of us who oppose immigration are to blame for voting them in.

If a BNP candidate stood in our constituency we'd be voting for them.

I always thought that hanging pirates wasnít altogether a bad thing
Mike

Piracy is still a capital offence in some states in the USA.

The Russians have the best idea.

"In one documented case, Russians shoved a group of pirates on an inflatable boat into the open sea, which was "a death sentence", says Michael Scharf of Case Western Reserve University."

Yes the tankers quite large but living quarters very small so no way they can stay hidden for 3 weeks.

A maritime piracy expert has confirmed that tankers have small rooms & corridors that are never routinely checked on a voyage so they could easily have gone unnoticed if they brought enough food for the voyage.

However, even if they started off as stowaways, they became pirates, under the Merchant Shipping & Maritime Security Act 1997, as soon as they uttered threats to the captain & crew who had to lock themselves in the ship's citadel.

Therefore they have to be treated as pirates.
