Taking Ron to see live Opera at the Cinema soon to see Werther for his Birthday treat. We saw this Opera many years ago at Nottingham with David Hughes as 'Werter', he had been a very popular pop star, I was a fan (anyone remember him?) and had chosen to move over to Opera singing, he sang his heart out for us, that night but it was not too long after that, he died, I. often wonder if the Opera singing was just too big a strain. At least he realised what must have been a dream for him, which not too many people achieve
