Blizzards for days
« on: Dec 20, 2010, 10:34:44 PM »
Snow blizzards could continue until Boxing Day with tomorrows winter solstice seeing temperatures dropping as low as - 27 degrees.

All this will be followed by widespread floods as the snow and ice melts.

Now isn't that something for us to look forward to? :'(

We go to Cheshire for Christmas every year to spend it with our son's family.  If there is too much snow we won't make it through the Peak District.   Buxton becomes impassable, and the M62 isn't fun in a blizzard either.  :o I went there by train last week for my granddaughter's birthday, but we've got lots of things to take, so we really want to go by car.    I've got everything crossed that we don't get any more until Christmas day.
Just because you’re offended doesn’t mean you’re right.
