My Sunflower pleaseeeeeee
« on: Mar 07, 2017, 01:41:52 AM »
Remember my beautiful sunflower last year in fact my little pic avatar is the actual flower with a bumble bee eating in the middle of it . Right I'll get to the point which is I kept the seeds and dried them out into a jam jar so please can anyone advise me on how do I start them growing again . I've ordered a bag of really really good soil and all I really need is you saying how I do it and I'm really excited now thinking it's possible for me to grow these seeds and our park home site could be emblazoned with sun flowers in the next few months . Aren't we all so lucky being able to grow from seed some beautiful plants xxxxxxx
Wow , I’m amazed I found you all again . I’m useless but all my love to you all for the past help and love you gave me

Hello Beannie,

Good luck with growing your own sunflowers. as you know they can get very tall, over 6 foot,  but the up side of them are that they are good for the birds as well as bees, and other insects too,  how ever its nice once they're fully grown as when the wind  blows them and they end up almost waving to you with their heads bobbing  as they go  back and forth ,
iv grown them too in the past but im thinking about growing one, or two again, especially for the birds and insects that will benefit from them .
