Sometimes I get angry when I see some slimeball politician trying to blame everything on the government of the day. Sometimes I despair at people with well intentioned but misplaced ideas. And sometimes I think, why the hell should I worry about things that don't affect me or my family. So, to quote Simon & Garfunkel, "I can gather all the news I need from the weather report" and it doesn't look too bad for the next few days.
The van is packed and we're heading off to Braemar for a few days. No news, no phone, no internet - in fact I don't think you can get radio except NECR (Never ending crap). Sometimes you just have to get away and forget about the world and its problems.
