They've got a luggage shop at the airport. A place to buy a piece of luggage? How late do you have to be for a flight where you're like "sod it - just grab a pile of [censored] we'll get a case at the airport?"

i bought a new case last year a nice sky blue hard shell
first trip it got a corner smashed in...£60...ffs
perhaps thats why Minnie...looking for suckers...sigh

That's interesting, I look at the hard shelled ones and tend to think they must be more durable, not so by the sound of it.

I think the important factor is has it got wheels and a handle to pull along so its not carried.
