Hi Morag your earlier presence predates me too so I'll just say hello and welcome.

If you don't log out,your name would stay on all night under"users". Often there are no users on board.

It doesn't it only shows if you have accessed something in the preceding 15 minutes. I tick the stay logged in and never log out. There is no security risk.


The site is insecure just refers to it operating without using SSL. (it is http and not https) That means login details are sent in plain across the Internet so if that concerns anybody (and it doesn't me) it is actually less secure to log out. There are other minor security issues with not using SSL but I have no problem living with them.
