This morning we prepared the gooseberries and made a batch of jam.  Then we lifted our 'first early' potatoes -  a variety called 'Swift'.  Got a very good crop from just a few plants....   Then it started raining and it was a dash to getting the washing off the line!

It's a pity about the weather because today and tomorrow in my nearest town, is the Turriff show, one of the largest agricultural and countryside craft shows in Scotland.  I can imagine that the beer tent will be pretty busy!
