Pop or any music?
Probably my all time favourite piece of music is Mozart's Clarinet Concerto.
After that, almost any 50's - 60's. Springfields, Carpenters and the like.

Impossible to choose 3. Or even 30...Different songs bring different things, each of them special in it's own way. It's like naming your favourite child!

Not sure why you'd be so offended by an obviously tongue-in-cheek post Mick..It wasn't intended to wound. I earned a living playing for some years and very rarely learned a song unless it meant something to me. From 'Runaway Train' to 'I Vow To Thee My Country' and a few hundred others in between, they're all special for some reason..but if you choose to be offended by my comment, so be it.

Please don't go mick-t. I think it is sad when people only stay a short while.
You certainly don't annoy me .

'One Day Like This'  Elbow. I think the opening bars are fantastic.
'Loving Feeling '. The Righteous Brothers.
'Va Pensiero'   Zuchero.
Everything will be alright in the end, and if it’s not alright, its not the end.

Yep, lived in Axbridge and worked at the Cheddar caves for 15 years. Learnt the art of flint knapping , fire lighting and the like and demonstrated stone age survival skills to the public at the museum, hence the CC!!

I was going to say naming my top 3 would be difficult, but I am changing that to impossible, as Alex stated they can change daily (depending on mood) so I will name the artists/composers instead,

Richard Wagner
Mike Oldfield
Rufus Wainwright

And mick-t, don't take everything said on here too seriously, there's a lot of friendly banter and micky taking, so stick with it and you'll see what I mean.
