« on: Oct 30, 2017, 04:08:29 PM »
Just done 2 hrs in myYard putting all the large pot shrubs to bed and the space for winter bird feeding increased.  My Fig tree still bears fruit it will have its chop next.  The bay surrendered some branches to dry the leaves the hose pipe cleaned the area...Done!

It's that time Firenze, isn't.  I have been clearing the bed in my front garden.  Mind you, the fact that the garden bin is emptied tomorrow helped prompt me.

Couldn't do it Saturday as skywater dropped all day. Sunday was lovely so Dennis and his oppo descended on it. Lawns cut and edged, leaves cleared and everything ship-shape and Bristol-fashion, ie ropes coiled neatly on scrubbed decks and all gear stowed away.

I used to pick brambles from the paddock hedges and a tic liked my foot. I thought I got it out but to this day it begins to itch in Autumn and is red. Do wonder if it haunts me!?

Firenze, coincidentally I have a triangular patch of skin between my shoulder-blades where I was stung by hornets years ago in Phoenix and it tingles and itches periodically and has since the incident...which might not've been as bad as it was if they hadn't flown down inside my shirt collar!

Haven't heard the word oppo in years.
I have a "Dennis", called Phil.  He did a good job of putting the garden to bed.  After he'd gone I decided to put the 'tea cosy' back on the outdoor tap and cut back a rambling rose. What seemed like hundreds of tiny white things flew out and bit me to death, I retreated back indoors.  That was my workout!

No sleepee last night either Zoony! Perhaps a run up and down stairs a few times might tire us?
