Man complaining about being poor in retirement.
« on: Jan 22, 2018, 08:41:58 AM »
A man said last night said how could he have saved for a pension when he had 7 kids to support. Surely the answer was for him to have 2 or 3.

What about a bit of Line Dancing brian.....?
Or if you don't feel too energetic you could try Flower Arranging.!. or a bit of clay throwing.!..

Everything will be alright in the end, and if it’s not alright, its not the end.

I do line dancing. I pay the fees from my occupational pension money.
I do aerobics as well. Some of the moves are similar. Are you coming to the 4am running club?

If I had seven kids I'd be expecting them to pay for me now!

I have found out they are all doing jobs and now have 1 or 2 kids each and at least 2 are saving for a pension. Probably they can not afford to support their father.

He has seven.  Are you expecting him to hand some back?
The vote for Brexit was a vote to take back what we hadn't lost in order to lose what we actually have.

7 kids, how on earth did he last long enough to retire?

Brian, you must "meet" more people in a week than I do in a year, I honestly can't remember ever getting into a discussion that involved pensions, (except with my best mate when we were discussing my early retirement) have you ever thought of stopping in more?

No. I have 2 doggys who want to walk. I met a man today and we went to Ask Italian as I had a half price voucher. We are meeting again on Thursday as he has a 2 for the price of 1 voucher in a nearby pub.
