Gentian Violet - such a beautiful colour.  It would make a good forum name too.  Algebra - I loved it.  It's just logic.  Algebra would make a good forum name too - a sort of 'Borrowers' name.

I preferred liquorice roots. Oh, FYI, a shot of anisette in a doubly strong, small black coffee is the ultimate liquorice root. ;D

When Jennifer was crawling she got Ring worm on one knee. (cats can bring that one into the home....) The doctor gave Jentian violet to apply and in no time she was cured!!!! :D gm

Remember, what, in the Midlands, we used to call caylie (spelling dubious!), a bit like yellow sugar in a bag and you dipped your finger in, and the other version called sherbert, which was white and you had a liquorice stick to dip in.

(I think it's Kali Min) Multi-coloured tongues all round. I remember pretending that the Host we received at communion was a sherbet flying saucer as it tasted like the same paper..
