Hi Steve could you do the site a favour and give reasons for you leaving. With your input members could if they wish make changes and get people like your self, Bea and many other to return.

Floydian, your input will be missed.  As Hugh says, it's helpful to know why you decided to quit.  Best wishes wherever you land.

How very sad this is.. I was enjoying your company as were others.
Something seems to be wrong here... and I for one do not like to see the newbies just drop out.

Don't be offended if people didn't always acknowledge your jokes.  I'm sure we all found them funny.

It tends to be forgotten that peoples sense of humour is sometimes very different, my Cockney sense of humour tends to be seen as an insult by some, but it would not by another Cockney, I well remember when I moved into rural Gloucestershire years ago, most of my attempts  at saying  something funny went down like a lead balloon,

I seem to be responsible for a member leaving...Not sure what I can say in retrospect but feel I should apologise. I'm sorry and I'll try to keep my foot out of my mouth in future...though it does seem to fit rather well. Mea culpa folks.. :-[

Well said Zoony, we all know you can be a bit grumpy but it's not always apparent to 'newbies' that your lack of coffee is the problem and not them. ;D    I do hope he reads this !!

Why announce you quit? Personally I think just slipping away is more elegant😄
