I can remember I had a dog at the time who was older than me. I thought he would last for ever but sadly he died in 1961 at 16. Another dog came to rescue us very quick.

I remember that one.  It was in the days of juke boxes in coffee bars. We thought we were cool! 8)

I remember it well..White high-heels or white heeled boots, full skirts with petticoats, tight sweaters and broad belts, full slap and mum's scent and big or bee-hive hair...But I always had a wash and shave and changed into my drainpipes before I went home. ;D

That reminds me of a time when I was sixteen, I had read in a teen magazine that it was a good idea when going on a date to spray some perfume onto a cotton wool ball and place it down the middle of your bra.
Well, having no perfume of my own I did this with my mothers Lavender perfume, yuk!  I must have given it a good soaking because during the evening in front of everybody in the coffee bar my boyfriend said. "Have you cut yourself, there's a strong smell of iodine coming from you".  :-\

This music was around when I started dating my late wife.
She did not tell me her mother was the head mistress of the school. I first found out when she sent for me.

This I found unexpectedly on a John Denver album long ago and enjoyed singing for many years..Tom Paxton wrote it.

I remember that one.  It was in the days of juke boxes in coffee bars. We thought we were cool! 8)

We used to put three records on the juke box & then race round a set route to get back before the third record had finished.

How in God's name we weren't all killed I'll never know, but it did give us lightening reactions & excellent traffic awareness, which still stands me in good stead today.

We used to all race down to Brighton . No seatbelts.. Dodgy motors.. and a few drinks .. We all survived .
Everything will be alright in the end, and if it’s not alright, its not the end.

Ohhhhh blimey I used to thumb a lift to Brighton and Southend with my sister and ohhhhhhh the music was amazing and made me and my sister so happy and sing out loud . One day a man picked us up after we thumbed a lift from him and he scared us so so much we never thumbed again boohoo . Back then everyone felt safe thumbing but then two girls were murdered and I think everyone stopped thumbing lifts xxx
Wow , I’m amazed I found you all again . I’m useless but all my love to you all for the past help and love you gave me
