Today's youngsters have loads of pictures taken, plus videos.  In our day photographs were few and far between, usually just taken on holiday or special occasions, mostly black and white at that, and they were tiny!

I'd hoped it was real. A friend had one of those 360 degree camera school photos and wanted to ask others to put names on it. I put some scripting on it and put it on a freebie webhost. Unfortunately the only person to put any names on was him.

I just checked and it's still there. Anybody attend Chipping Camden school around 1970? Run mouse over picture to see names.

Not my school. I do have a photo like that somewhere but never bothered to scan it. I'd have to hunt around to find my friend - he's over on the right somewhere and looks a real wrong 'un. What amazed me is that he didn't recall the name of  this master with the comedy hair cut....

I'm wondering now if that really is his hair or some sort of scarf on the woman behind - if it is though he has a mohican anyway.

He has a distinct look of Gerald Champion playing Billy Bunter..40 years on.
Content with little but a little more would be nice.

Among the framed photos in our hallway is one of our school house in 1949.  So many of the faces on that fading picture are no longer with us.  The Head Boy sitting in the centre of the group went just a few weeks ago.  He was one of those individuals who never seemed to change, became a Headmaster himself and was apparently very fit but sadly he died suddenly at 86.  I attended the funeral of another on the group last week, a close friend.  Tempus fugit and all that, I guess!

School photos with missing faces is sad...try Bowling Club pictures. Just found one! I sit with the oldest member cos I was the youngest. Guess that would be a wipe out now!
