I see a couple of topics have been moved to the Controversial Topics board, but when I tried to follow them I got a message saying it wasn't open to me. Why would that be? I have E-mailed Chris posing the question, but I thought that perhaps somebody would already know the answer.

Mike.. You have to register .. Fortyone put a link up in another thread on how to do it. I am sure he will put the same link up for you .

Go to atopic called  Deleted Threads .. It was a topic by raven on General Discussions  a few pages back.
On the first page their is a suggested link by fortyone.. that is the link I went on to ..

Well you can be as controversial as you like, now.

Of course anything can be controversial to someone.

E.g. You could start a thread about what you did at the seaside as a child, such as watching a Punch & Judy show, & six replies later the politically correct have turned it into a thread about misogyny.

I do not believe there is anything particularly controversial about Topics?  The nuts are a bit of a pain sometimes, but the chocolate and filling are nice; just about my favourite chocolate bar I would think.
