There once was a woman from Reigate
who quite often chatted at my gate.
she hated my mother but we loved each other
and so we got married in Hull.

Completely apposite and nought to do with the theme of this subject but I only once ever visited that fair city of Hull.  It was entirely unplanned and was due to taking a wrong turn when exiting the Humber bridge returning home from a seaside hol in Filey.  We drove ever more slowly into this burgeoning metropolis and I discerned the top of a Ferris Wheel and Helter Skelter over the house rooftops indicating the proximity of a travelling Fair.  I noticed four lads in a new Mini following my car very closely and when I pulled up at the kerb, they did likewise.  The driver alighted and tapped on my window.  "Why have you stopped?" he enquired amiably.  I answered "Because we are lost!"  At this he became quite agitated and responded "You could have said so, we were following you because we thought you knew the way to the fair?  wtf?

More of us. More to come. Filling roads, filling surgeries, filling schools. Rats.
Overwhelmed services. Mismanagement. Getting more and more crowded. Rats
It would be unnatural to become sanguine. More people more crowded more stress.
I guess we can take more sleepers.
The place is becoming ugly
