I've deleted it but have no idea what you mean about it being too big.

Em I had taken this picture off this forum and had asked fortyone to remove it which hasn’t happened so I am holding him responsible for your rude offensive and hurtful remark. You have indeed turned my heart to stone also, so thankyou for that.

The title says  " painting OF some of my Gt Grandchildren "   so Em  what makes you think the painting was done BY the grandchildren  ?

I think it's nice, what's not to like about kids running to an ice cream van ?   ;D

I agree Alex, it's a picture of a moment with joy in it but I'm curious as to why em would be so unkind about it instead of just saying nowt...

Several members found the painting "nice".I happened not to agree and simply said so.How boring it would be if sentimental tosh appealed to us all.Since when did we become such sensitive snowflakes?

Times like this I do wonder about folk. Something dear to yellowbird's  heart was shared with us. It's obvious that negative remarks would hurt. How difficult is it to just say nothing?

YB, that will be a lovely moment in time to remember as they grow up.
Just because you’re offended doesn’t mean you’re right.

Bearing in mind I am a very amateur painter but enjoy it, I put the picture on for two reasons, one to see if I could, which I finally managed with several  of you helping me, two to provoke the painting group to start posting again which had been fun. If you have a four year old gt. grandchild Em that could paint like that praps you would be proud, however being compared to a child did hurt and upset me and ‘Sentimental Tosh’ has rather spoilt my enjoyment of it. Rest assured Em that you will not be required to wear a Burka as I will not post my paintings on this or any other forum again. This is my last word on this matter Em
