We all need to have a laugh everyday !
These pics certainly made me belly laugh  ;D ;D ;D

A vast array of colourful outfits was on display for the start of Aintree today with the usual medley of ensembles that were more entertaining than the racing.

OMG is that the 'latest' in fashion for these 'ladies' makes you embarrassed to be a lady and it shows money does not guarantee good taste

I had been trying to think of how we could have a 'sweep' on the Grand National any idea's how we could run a vitual sweep with no money changing hands just for a bit of fun?

At work we always had a 50p sweep and it was great fun we stopped work in the shop so everyone including customers could watch the race on TV :)

On a more serious note two horses were killed in yesterday's GN and 33 have died in the last few years - time to rethink maybe?

It always upsets me when horses are killed in the race .
Also , so many racehorses are sent to slaughter when their racing days are over.

I am sure, that with the exception of Caminito's Lady, the horses as usual, were more attractive and certainly better groomed. When will these races "ladies" realise just how ridiculous they look; take the fashion shoes for starters, it seems to me that no matter how thick, or no ankles, just a merge of knee and calf, the feet at the end are forced to totter around in gladiator type torture. Little light frocks, which no doubt cost an arm and a leg are a daymare on the over bossomed, over buttocked, orange tanned wearers. There, I have said it! Some of you ladies must be in the region, what can be done to stop this annual laughing stock?
