He said councils put up Street Christmas Decorations. What areas are there for people who don't want to celebrate Christmas and should they get their money back for street decorations.

Councils waste money. They employ one lot of men to go out and plant trees, another lot to sweep up the leaves, and another lot to prune them, and yet another lot to go round clearing the drains.

Northampton don't do any of those things any more. Trouble is the trees are still there dropping leaves that lay and rot in the gutters and block the drains.

We are not over happy at the moment. The pavements were tarmacked about 2 years ago and a nice job was done. We gave the workers a few cans of beer.
Since then the pavement has been dug up for the gas, electric and water.
I can not understand why this could not be coordinated better.

Unfortunately the electricity company cannot lay its cable in a gas board hole. And however bad the pavements are today, 1) they don't deter cyclists and 2) they can't be half as bad as they were after cable TV went through, having been given cart blancmange by John Major's lot.

do you know i really miss Larry Grayson
that look of sheer terror in his eyes as he waiting for that one honest BBC producer to come up and tell him he was talent-less 'look at the muck here'

Well, I'm going to hang my balls up..  That statement doesn't seem right somehow..
Everything will be alright in the end, and if it’s not alright, its not the end.
