I was mulling that option over but someone said to me that they had enquired and was told, they have enough for now.  ;D

The bodies are for the most parts used for medical students degree courses. Both my daughter and granddaughter attended dissections of human legs. I doubt many if any get used for spare parts. They get requested before actual death.

If you are interested fill in the form. There is no promise that they will take a body at a death, only if required at the time. Then plan B will come into force funeral, and no trimming

There was a American programme on the tele a while back whereby it showed a notice board in a training Hospital filled with personal 'thank you' notes from the medical students naming various deceased people who had donated their bodies.

If they were messing with bits of me I'd prefer it was anonymous.

We have an ethical company locally which was highlighted on You And Yours a few years ago. They charge £1,000 for a decent but basic funeral to which can 'add-on' any frills you might want.

Can't remember what programme it was, but thinking about it, it must have been British because during he programme it was mentioned that British medical students would be more likely to be larking about, throwing the 'balls' at each other.  Maybe it was a Louis Theroux documentary, or similar.  ;D
