To use the correct technical terminology the original post was something called a brain fart.
Hopefully this will give the same answer in the US as it does here....

Reading the definition, I'd have to agree. Trust the Yanks to come up with a brilliant but rude nomenclature for it. Wondered what phrase the Aussie's used and it's Maladaptive Brain Activity Change.
Unusually, I prefer the American one.
