crisps and biscuits,
« on: Nov 09, 2018, 09:27:09 AM »

Although not every one likes crisps. and the many flavours that they come yet many people do like to crunch away on a packet, but for many people who eat them others dont, especially  those who wear false teeth, as  the bits and pieces can get under the teeth, and rub the gums, the same for biscuits,

and of course the manufacturers of these scrumptious delights tease us with more and more mouth watering, eye catching items, which tempt the taste buds, even at times regardless of price,

so when it comes to the crunch which do you prefer , crisps, or  biscuits, or both, ??
and which ones do you avoid,

When asked what flavour crisps I'd like I always reply potato flavour please. I dislike all the strange chemicals they dip them in. It's amazing that somebody hasn't come up with the idea of flavouring chips with the muck.

Ready salted crisps please.   With tea or coffee I like a  shortbread biscuit, or an oat and raisin cookie.

Hey Granny Mac, That's the exact same choice I would make. ;D  I love Pringles Tubs of Plain Crisps and sometimes I put them in a Sandwich as a filling. ;D

I like vegetable crisps - potato, sweet potato, parsnip, beetroot etc..  The other snack I like is 'Bugles' - although we always call them 'Buggles'

It's wind enough here without adding to it.

I'm a Pringles fan too, only Sour Cream and Chives is my favourite.   I don't eat a lot of biscuits, but do enjoy dunking gingernuts occasionally  ;D

Not too sure about Sprout crisps......

Me too Alex, my pre dinner glass of wine loves a crisp with it too.

Salt 'n vinegar crisps with baked beans (in a sandwich) and ginger nuts mostly.

I don't like Walkers crisps, only Kettle or McCoy's and either plain or cheese/cheese and onion, or almost anything as long as it's not "meat" flavoured,
I like a lot of different types of biscuits especially Biscoff, but not Nice or Shortcakes, and I still haven't found any Morning Coffee yet.
