I hope it comes soon. I've just had the oil tank topped up.  Not too bad - 570 litres for 351.  That should last till Easter, and then another (bigger)  top up.
Worked hard all my life with no help from my friends,
Oh lord won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz.

A few paras down, just above the P60 bit.  Only one in five of us are taxpayers.

It doesn't say that. It says

Now an estimated one in five taxpayers is over 65, according to pension provider Royal London.

I thought that was low, apologies, I completely misread it!

I'll try again! We have around 30 million taxpayers in the UK, in a population of around 68 million.  One in five equates to around six million, which in turn is around half of pensioners.  Some of those are still in work. Much more realistic.

I'd say so. I did look for the answer but there was so much dross in my search results I gave up. I did spot that there are more higher rate taxpayers in their 70's than in their 30's. Had I done things differently I could have had more but I still get more coming in than I spend myself. Naturally I get assistance with that problem. I always like to tell any young mothers I talk to that the first 40 years are the worst....

I had my notification the other day and cash today. Wife hasn't had hers yet. I'll leave the electric blanket off on her side til it turns up.
