FGM
« on: Nov 21, 2018, 10:42:49 AM »

We all know its wrong. We all know its criminal. We all know that you can put a spoon down your knickers if you think you are being taken abroad to have it done,or to be forced in to a unwanted marriage...why then must young male children be forced into having circumcision without their consent? Wots the CoE gotta say on this,or Labour or Conservative. Even Momentum! Why the silence? Wheres the outrage from Hampstead or our 'educated' religious leaders.

I call it abuse.

Wheres the tears from the luvvies over this matter?

Wheres St Bob or St Bono or St Lily Allan. Why no outrage from our parliamentary 'leaders'?

How many here would have it done to their son?

Criminal.

Wheres the prosecution?

Good post.  This is nothing other than child abuse and should be treated as such.

The Jews see it differently for their boys though as digitalis  mentioned. All this cultural and religious abuse should be illegal in the UK including barbaric animal slaughter methods.

I try not to get too upset by these big issues, especially where religion is concerned. And if its not too ironic, this famous prayer sums up my feelings.

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And wisdom to know the difference.

My mum had that on her mantelpiece Bobcat.  It's well to remember from time to time.

a friend of mine HAD to be circumcised in his mid thirties
mmmm....he wished he had been done as a child
as far as i'm aware
male circumcision is for health reasons
but female mutilation is to prevent pleasure  [sad bss]
