our feathered friends, whos a clever bird then,
« on: Nov 25, 2018, 06:37:35 PM »

During the summer , one of my relations who lives in Kent had a thrush calling on her on a daily basis , and it had the audacity to peck on the window and then wait for her to put out  some bird food on a saucer which he/she helped themselves too,

evidently this bird wasn't bird brained either, ….but a smart, and intelligent one, who knew exactly how to get food the easy way,

Q ; have you any stories of our feathered friends that you might like to share with us,

My daughter saved two baby pigeons that had fallen from the nest. One did not make it, it got a throat infection. My daughter was in touch with her vet (she has horses that need to be kept well) She got good advice from the vet and managed to save one. He is now a healthy young bird, in the field with the horses, and the chickens...and lots of trees !....When in the morning and evening she goes to tend to her animals, the pigeon is going to her ....gmx
