Absolutely. Then the ashes can be put into a firework and sent skywards! I don't want a burial, neither does my OH.  I do have the deeds to a burial plot in Scotland.  My father bought it for his mother in the 1930s and she's the only one in it.

Members of my family keep on getting notices of unsafe graves and asking for them to be repaired. I did pay towards them for a time but most of the other contributors have now passed away so we do not pay now. The council's now lay the stones flat.

I have a space in a family grave which was purchased for me by my grandad. The problem is he did not purchase one for my late wife.

If it is important to you why did you find the iron clamps around your wallet too secure to do so yourself or if all the plots had gone why not buy another plot for your direct family.
