« on: Dec 07, 2018, 12:32:08 PM »

Where i live as its not that far from Christmas day iv begun to see some amazing lights  some lighting up the front of a house and it looks wonderful all bright and colourful and these houses really attract small children as well as adults as  they look on in wonder seeing these beautiful displays ,some are almost like a miniature Blackpool tower illuminations really amazing,

Q; are you also lucky to have houses displaying some amazing illuminations on houses which are really amazing. if so will you tell us what's going on in your area,.

Dark as Newgate's knocker here, but I feel it is a little early to put the decorations up.

On a Christmas theme, we are just back from a shopping trip to Chester.  Debenhams have half price ladies nightwear, just for today I think.  I bought a dressing gown and pyjamas for one of my daughters.  Fill your boots!

I shall be putting up a string of lights myself next week, and the public lights in the high street put up by the council have already been strung up.

That gives me an idea, I'll suggest it to the members of the council.

Not a trend here, but down at my own house in Perth there are a few who go way over the top. I would hate their next leckie bill.  :o

One of the neighbours has lights on an outside tree, very pretty.   There are a couple in windows, but its too early for us. End of next week is soon enough.

There will be a few OTT ones, the children like them, but its not something I'm inclined to do.  Like Raven, I don't fancy the costs!

Do they crash & need rebooting very often?

Just one or two outside trees with lights on .. I do like them.
I only decorate inside the house..
Everything will be alright in the end, and if it’s not alright, its not the end.

What’s the earliest for you and your OH to jump on the window sill..?

Everything else in windows does.
