Radio 2
« on: Jan 25, 2019, 09:14:40 AM »
Chris Evans has gone over to Virgin Radio.. I will not be following him..
But I just can't warm to Zoe Ball who has taken over the morning slot.
She just doesn't come across as genuine.
It's a male voice I want to hear in the morning.
Everything will be alright in the end, and if it’s not alright, its not the end.

I gave up listening to Radio2 in the morning ages ago.  Couldn't stand Sarah Kennedy, Terry Wogan  and especially Chris (excuse me while I talk over the music because I'm so important and love the sound of my own voice) Evans.  The only one I liked when he 'stood in', was Richard Allinson.  He's now with Magic Radio, along with several other former R2 newsreaders and presenters.

I now listen to Radio 4 Extra in the mornings.
You'll have had your tea.

Terry Wogan was the best.. His lovely Irish voice .. His Jantet and John (tongue in cheek) stories..
It’s a shame because I enjoy Radio 2 in the back ground..

Tel was the best Scrumpy, it was nice to go off to work with a laugh.   Once he left I switched to my local radio station.
