Wos all that about then?
« on: Jan 27, 2019, 10:32:26 PM »
I was amused by the Press and broadcast media's interest in Megan Windsor's baby bump and the fact that she continuously touches and cradles it..
A/ Ms Markle was an actress and I've never seen an actress with a prosthetic baby bump do anything other than that. So it's learned?
B/ She has no other practical way of shielding her developing foetus from the hundreds of cameras and the noise of thousands of people 'it' is exposed to so often and she's being protective by instinct and
C/ She's a first-time mum for God's sake. Leave the girl alone!

'Course, I'm a man and never been up the plum so what would I know?

I don't recall ever doing that.  Perhaps its because way back then it was the done thing to 'hide the bump' whereas now its the done thing to be proud of the bump and bring attention to it.
I saw an ad for burial plots.  I thought to myself, "this is the last thing I need".

That's certainly true Min. For the last few years every celebrity BB has been shown off, Facebooked, publicized and used. I dearly hope she's not that 'Hollywood shallow'...
